Snapchat is a photo-messaging app. You are able to take a picture, add a caption and highlight or draw on the photo. You also set a time limit for how long you want the person you are sending the picture to view it. Then the photo disappears (like a ghost, I guess).
I define an area with boundaries, give students a partner, and tell them to take a picture of something within the boundaries and send it to the other. The receiving student must look for the object in the photo. Because the amount of time they can see the photo is limited students are forced to remember. When they find the object they take a picture and send it back. The problem with this game is that it relies heavily on the honor system. But students enjoy this game quite a bit. They have lots of fun with it.
